About the Treasure Valley Scottish American Society

Our Mission:

The Scottish American Society of the Treasure Valley is a non-profit community-oriented group dedicated to promoting an awareness of pride in and celebration of Scottish and other Celtic Heritage.

Activities We Promote, Sponsor and/or Host:

  • Concerts featuring Scottish, Irish and other Celtic Performers.
  • Ceilidhs ("kay-lees") -- traditional gatherings with live bands, singing and dancing for people of all ages and abilities.
  • The Treasure Valley Celtic Festival & Highland Games. Held annually, the third weekend of September.

Membership:

Our membership is open to EVERYONE. You don't have to be of Celtic Heritage to join! All you need is a love of things Scottish and/or Celtic.

Membership Dues: (Renew July 1st each year)

  • Individual Membership $20.00/year
  • Family Membership $30.00/year
  • Student Membership $10.00/year

With a membership you recieve:

  • Quarterly newsletters sent to your home with all the latest news and events.
  • Discounts to all SAS sponsored events. (including the Treasure Valley Celtic Festival and Highland Games)
  • The chance to volunteer at several of our events and get FREE admission!
